How Padivathil collects, uses, and protects your information.

Padivathil operates three separate applications that work together as one delivery platform: the Customer app (placing orders), the Vendor app (managing shops and fulfilling orders), and the Delivery Partner app (delivering orders to customers). This single privacy policy applies to all three apps. Sections below note where data collection or use differs between apps.

By creating an account or using any Padivathil app, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

We collect only what's needed to create your account, process orders, and complete deliveries. What's collected depends on which app you use.

We do not currently collect payment card, UPI, or bank details, as all Padivathil apps operate on a Cash on Delivery basis only.

• Account creation and login — verifying your identity and keeping your account secure.
• Order processing — connecting customer orders to the right vendor and delivery partner.
• Delivery logistics — using precise location to calculate delivery distance, route delivery partners, and estimate delivery charges.
• Notifications — sending order status updates, new order alerts, and delivery assignments via push notification.
• Support — responding to queries or complaints raised by any user.

We do not use your data for third-party advertising or sell it to data brokers.

Padivathil apps rely on the following external services to function. Each processes a limited slice of your data on our behalf:

These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and process data only to provide the service listed above.

Because Padivathil connects three types of users to fulfil an order, some information is necessarily shared between them:

• A vendor can see the customer's name, phone number, and delivery address for orders placed with them.
• A delivery partner can see the order details, customer name, phone number, and delivery location needed to complete that delivery.
• A customer can see the vendor's shop name, address, and — once assigned — the delivery partner's name and live delivery status.

We do not share your personal information with advertisers or unrelated third parties.

We retain your account and order data for as long as your account remains active, and as needed to resolve disputes, maintain order records, or meet legal obligations.

You can also request deletion by emailing us at electronprojects29@gmail.com from your registered email or phone number.

Regardless of which Padivathil app you use, you can at any time:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate profile, address, or contact information.
• Delete your account and data, via Settings or by emailing us.
• Withdraw consent for location access through your device settings — note that this may limit delivery-related features.

Padivathil apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

Your data is stored using Firebase's infrastructure, which encrypts data in transit and at rest. Access to backend data is restricted to authorised Padivathil administrators. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time as Padivathil's apps evolve — for example, if we introduce online payments in the future. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date, and significant changes may also be announced in-app.
